BTS-LA-01 | Lorenzo Agius × Behind the Scenes®︎ Collaboration T-Shirt

A collaboration between Behind the Scenes®︎ and British photographer Lorenzo Agius, known for his portraits of numerous actors and film productions, as well as his iconic photography for Trainspotting.

The first release, “BTS-LA-01,” features a black-and-white portrait of Björk photographed by Lorenzo between 1993 and 1996.

The image, which was not used in i-D magazine at the time, appears on the front, while the back features a different black-and-white image from the same photo shoot that was actually published in the magazine.

Drawn from an issue of i-D that has since become difficult to find, the T-shirt brings together two images from the same photo shoot: one that remained unpublished and one that made it into print — presented across the front and back of a single piece.

To preserve the tonal depth and texture of the original photography, the images are printed using a technique in which the ink is absorbed into the fabric, creating a soft finish that becomes part of the garment itself.
