About the Collection
This release marks the final chapter of the official Trainspotting 30th Anniversary Project.
More than an anniversary collection, this project is a cultural archive—faithfully recreating the spirit and character of the original 1996 official merchandise using today's production techniques.
While many modern collaborations prominently feature the collaborating brand's identity, this collection deliberately avoids adding any new branding. Every decision was made with one goal: to honor the original products as authentically as possible.
To achieve this, we closely studied original 1996 officially licensed Trainspotting T-shirts printed on DELTA blanks and bearing the ©1996 CHANNEL FOUR FILMS copyright. The original graphics were carefully re-examined from archival materials and reconstructed in higher resolution, preserving their authentic character while enhancing their clarity for modern production.
Design
- Official Trainspotting 30th Anniversary commemorative T-shirt.
- Reimagined as the 30 YEARS WASH MODEL, based on the fan-favorite "#5 RENTON", "THE FIVE" design.
- Carefully reproduced vintage characteristics, including naturally aged prints, faded fabric, subtle paint splatters, and the exceptionally soft feel of a well-worn T-shirt.
- Designed to capture the presence and character of a genuine vintage piece while remaining an entirely new garment.
